Facilities:
We’re proud to say that we offer something for everyone at Cowplain Social Club. We have a large main bar area as well as two seperate lounges and a function hall. Our main seating area boasts a large and well-stocked bar.
We have gaming machines, a Lotto Pull Tab machine and a snazzy new jukebox!
Our sporting facilities are excellent: we have recently installed a second projector and large drop down screen in the Richard Pyle lounge as well as the pre-existing one in the Main Bar. Just in case that wasn’t enough, we also have four other TV screens in the building so you can watch from anywhere in the Club!
The Main Bar area features a full-size pool table for general use as well as our second table for match-play in the Harry Heath lounge. We have several darts boards in both areas too!
Finally, our entire upstairs area is a dedicated Snooker Hall with five full-size match tables with seating and air-con/heating to keep you comfortable in all temperatures! We also offer snooker lockers for hire (subject to availability) to our members. If you’d like to enquire about hiring one then please email the Secretary.
Get Involved!
- Bingo is held in the Hall three times a week (Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.)
- Tea Dance is held in the Hall every Monday afternoon.
- Ballroom Dancing is held in the Hall every Wednesday evening.
- One Sunday a month we hold our Leslie Duncan Darts Memorial Tournament – everyone is welcome and all abilities can join in! Pre-registration forms are on the noticeboard in the Harry Heath lounge, or just show up on the day and get involved!
- Join one of our sporting teams: Crib, Snooker, Billiards, Darts and Pool.
