The Club’s function rooms are available for hire to members who have held Club membership for more than 12 months.
The main hall and carpeted lounge area accommodates approximately 200 guests and is available as a day or half day hall hire. Alternatively both lounge areas can be hired for smaller functions for up to 60 guests. The large hall has a generously sized stage for all your entertainment needs. The function hall has it’s own private bar tended to by our welcoming staff..
We can also recommend caterers for your buffet requirements and a list of recommended local DJβs, bands, entertainers and even hall decorations for those special occasions. The bar will even create a cocktail for your event! At Cowplain Social Club you can find advice, contacts and a friendly welcome all under one roof which can lead to a successful celebration that friends and family will remember for months to come! Wakes:
Our carpeted upper lounge area can also be used for wakes. We offer our facilities for members of the Club who have sadly passed away, or to relatives of Club members. We understand that this can be a really difficult time for our members so we do our very best to take some of the load off for you. The lounge is offered at a nominal charge to try and help ease the burden and we make the process as easy for you as possible.
There is a private bar area and we can set up tables for flowers or photo books etc. Whatever your needs, we will do our utmost to fill them.
To hire the lounge for a wake, please contact the Bar Management team directly and we’ll handle everything for you from there.
